Lisa Brasher, and Ann Kolaski attended The Tennessee Federation of Democratic
Women Convention at the Hilton in Memphis. It was 3 days of excitement, making
plans and preparing for the 2016 elections.
There were workshops, meetings and speeches from our State Democrat Chair Lady, Mary Mancini, The Mayor of Memphis and others.
We were very happy when Decatur County was the winner of third place in the scrap book in the State, and was selected as the winner of Special Projects from the State. The Special Projects Awards goes to the most outstanding club in the State.
Ms. Lona Keeton was selected from Decatur County for honorable mention in the Jean Livingston Memorial Fund. A very nice presentation was given to honor and remember all the ladies selected.
We got to meet a lot of people and see what other clubs are doing.
Decatur County was represented in a very positive way; thanks to all the hard work the club has done.
